Our design language is shaped by street culture, contemporary silhouettes, modern proportions, utility, colour, music, art, and the ever-evolving way people express themselves through clothing. We take inspiration from what is happening around us, but reinterpret it through our own perspective to create pieces that feel distinctive, relevant, and personal.
We believe trends can be a starting point for great design, but clothing should never feel disposable. Instead of designing only for the moment, we focus on creating pieces with character—garments that can remain relevant beyond a single season and become part of your everyday wardrobe.
Every piece is thoughtfully developed with attention to silhouette, proportion, fabric, texture, functionality, movement, and the small details that make a garment feel considered. From the way an oversized silhouette falls on the body to the placement of a graphic, the weight of a fabric, or the functionality of a utility-inspired detail, every element has a purpose.

At the heart of Down & Awake is our belief that great design begins with the right fabric and is completed through thoughtful construction. We place as much importance on how a garment feels and performs as we do on how it looks.
We carefully consider the weight, texture, softness, structure, drape, and overall character of every fabric we work with. From the substantial feel of a heavyweight hoodie to the natural movement of a relaxed shirt or the structure of a carefully developed silhouette, each choice is made to create a product that feels intentional from the first wear.
We pay close attention to the details that often go unnoticed but make a meaningful difference—fit, proportions, stitching, finishing, trims, construction, and the way a garment moves with the body. Made In-House
Our in-house manufacturing gives us greater control over every stage of the product journey—from the first design concept to the finished garment. By keeping the process closely connected, we are able to make decisions with greater intention, refine details more carefully, and maintain a consistent standard across every piece we create.
Our involvement begins long before a garment reaches production. We work closely with fabric selection, developing the right weight, texture, feel, and performance for each product. From there, we focus on fit, proportions, construction, stitching, finishing, and overall functionality, continuously evaluating how each element comes together as a complete garment.
Being involved throughout the manufacturing process also allows us to identify small imperfections and make improvements before a product reaches you. We can test, adjust, refine, and repeat—giving us the freedom to improve a silhouette, change a fabric, strengthen a construction detail, or rethink a finish when something can be done better
